Derek DiamondDerek is in the top three for his division in points. He is leading his team, “The Honey Badgers,” with 47 points so far this season. Derek is a fifth-grader at Mount Woodson Elementary School in Mr. Filson’s class where he strives to be the best student he can be. He loves baseball and plays 12U travel for “The San Diego Show.” He is also preparing for his third year of Bronco division baseball in the local Pony league. When he is not on the basketball court, he can be found rocking his skinny jeans and performing with his hip hop group, “Threezy Rhymes with Greezy.”
Hannah NowakowskiHannah is in the top three for her division in points. She is leading her team with 52 points in six games. Hannah is a sixth-grade “A” student at Barnett Elementary. She is vice president of the student council and a member of the Emerging Leaders program. She is a “basketball junkie,” according to her father, but has expressed interest in volleyball as well. Hannah enjoys being with friends, family and playing games.
