Members of the Ramona Ramblers Senior Travel Club held their annual Christmas party in the Ramona Community Center on Dec. 1.

Harpist Jose Smith of Ramona and the Choraleers from the First Congregational Church of Ramona entertained the group.

The members enjoyed their choice of salmon or tri tip prepared by Lloyd Hobbs, Pete Bakarich, and Bob Chambers. Ramona High School students Mariah Morgart, Nicole Neufhan, Alice Pelayo, Haley Johnson, and Matteo Frarehello served the luncheon with direction from RHS counselor Diana Benke and Lisa Filice with the school’s College & Career Center.

Party Committee members Marlene Rollins and Vicki Tuberg held opportunity drawings and door prizes as the party ended. Stater Brothers, Albertsons, Ramona Cafe & Bakery, Rice King, Da Tuna Shack, and Starbucks donated gift certificates that were used as door prizes.

“We thank everyone,” said Liz Prafke, Ramona Rambler Senior Travel Club tour director.

Persons age 50 and older are welcome to join the travel club. For more information, contact Prafke at the Ramona Senior Activity Center at 760-789-0440.
