Ramona artist teaches classes throughout region

Carol Ravy, a Ramona artist and educator, is teaching watercolor classes for the Poway Adult Education Program.

Ravy’s classes will consist of a five-week beginning watercolor class, followed by a five-week intermediate watercolor class. These classes will run concurrently throughout the year.

Classes this fall run from Sept. 12 to Oct. 10, and Oct. 17 to Nov. 14, and are held at Rancho Bernardo High School. Class fees will include all supplies. For more information or to enroll, call 858-668-4024, or go online to www.powayadultschool.com.

Ravy, who has 13 years experience teaching for Palomar Community College, will also teach an acrylic class for Venture, through Palomar. In addition, she will offer watercolor classes for the College of Borrego in Borrego Springs, beginning in October.

At the Ramona Woman’s Club at 524 Main St., she teaches watercolor and acrylics from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Ravy teaches in Warner Springs from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and at the Activity and Learning Center in Wynola from 1 to 3:30 p.m., Thursdays.
