Ramona district lifts water alert

San Diego Gas & Electric restored power to the Ramona Municipal Water District’s pump station in Poway by 11 p.m. Thursday, so the district lifted its water curtailment alert, Assistant General Manage David Barnum said.

During the power outage that affected the region Thursday, the district had asked customers to conserve water to essential uses only. Once power was restored, that was no longer necessary.
