Ramona Airport is one of six airports on the Coyote Country Chapter of the Ninety-Nines Inc.’s 20th Annual Cross-Country Caper and Poker Run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The rain date is Sept. 17.

Participating pilots will fly to five out of six designated airports and will pick up poker hands at each airport. Poker hands may be purchased for $4 per hand or $10 for three hands.

In addition to Ramona Airport, airports included in the poker run are Fallbrook, French Valley, Gillespie Field, Hemet-Ryan, and Oceanside. Pilots may start from any airport at 10:30 a.m., but they must finish at French Valley and be checked in at the terminal building no later than 2:30 p.m.

Prizes will be given for the best poker hands, and a silent auction will also take place.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support women in aviation.
