San Diego Last Chance Ranch, an animal rescue group in Ramona, will hold a fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 15.

The fundraiser will be held downtown San Diego at 955 S. 16th St. near Petco Park and will include a live art auction from 4 to 6 p.m. with paintings, sculputures and photographs from San Diego-area artists.

There will also be opportunity drawings and music provided by three bands: Abundant Star, Tim Lewis Band and Comfort and Chaos. Author, illustrator and painter Laura Seeley will also be at the fundraiser.

Admission is free. Lunch will available for $8 per person.

According to April Taylor of Last Chance Ranch, money raised will go toward the caring and feeding of rescued domesticated animals and preparing them for a new home.
