Ramona Senior Center will be closed for Columbus Day on Monday, Oct. 10.

A variety of miscellaneous items will be offered at reasonable prices at Bargain Corner from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 13 and from 8 a.m. to noon on Oct. 14. Proceeds benefit Ramona Senior Center.

The spaghetti fundraiser scheduled for Oct. 15 at the center has been postponed indefinitely.

Ramona Senior Center, a county-designated Cool Zone, is open at 434 Aqua Lane weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for legal holidays. The pool table is available for use any time except during Bargain Corner.

Thursday, Oct. 6

: Bingo at 1 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 7

: Exercise at 9 a.m., Pokeno at 1 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 10:

Closed.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

: Quilting at 9 a.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

: Exercise at 9 a.m., Pinochle at 9 a.m., Bridge at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 13

: Bargain Corner from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bingo at 1 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 14

: Bargain Corner from 8 a.m. to noon, Exercise at 9 a.m., Pokeno at 1 p.m.

Dinner-style meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals also are delivered to the homebound in Ramona, Julian, Mesa Grande, Santa Ysabel and Warner Springs.

Suggested donation for lunch for seniors age 60 and older and for homebound is $4. Transportation is $1. Lunch for non-seniors is $6.

Lunch reservations are advised. For reservations and more information, call the senior center at 789-0440.

Friday, Oct. 7:

Pork loin with gravy, scalloped potatoes, California vegetables, applesauce.

Monday, Oct. 10

Tuesday, Oct. 11

: Lemon chicken, au gratin potatoes, winter mix vegetables, apricots.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

: Meat spaghetti, Italian vegetables, garlic bread, Jello with Mandarin oranges.

Thursday, Oct. 13

: Chicken cordon bleu, brown rice with gravy, green beans, kiwi.

Friday, Oct. 14

: Chef salad with chicken, ham, tomato, cheese, cucumbers, boiled egg, pears.
