Ramona wineries participate in SD Bay Wine & Food Festival

Share

The eighth annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival last week culminated with the Grand Tasting Event Saturday held on the Embarcadero Park North behind Seaport Village.

Thousands of wine and food enthusiasts converged on a day that started out gray and drizzly, but quickly turned spectacular with sunshine sparkling off the water.

Over 30 gourmet food companies offered food tastings, while over 170 international winemakers poured some of the most renowned wines and spirits on the market today, including several Ramona wineries. Wolf’n Rose, Salerno and Hacienda de las Rosas (soon to open a tasting room in Ramona) poured their award-winning varietals that rivaled wineries from Napa, Monterey, Temecula and other countries including France and Italy.
