Real Estate Association welcomes 2011-12 board

Ramona Real Estate Association (RREA) members welcomed their new board of directors at an installation ceremony at Nuevo Grill on Tuesday morning.

Cheryl Hotchkiss is president for RREA’s 2011-12 year that started on July 1. Scott Norton is vice president; Andrea Stykel, secretary; Sally Westbrook, treasurer; Martha Luce, director; Cris Vaughn, director; and Jordan VanCamp, director.

RREA strives to promote high standards of professionalism and ethics. The organization also promotes real estate education, cutting-edge technology, networking among Realtors and affiliates, and community involvement.

The association each year presents scholarships to graduating high school seniors and supports other community organizations and events.

“RREA promotes the use of our local Realtors for all real estate transactions,” states an association release. “We are the experts of Ramona and the backcountry.”

RREA breakfast meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in Nuevo Grill, 1413 Main St. The public is welcome.

Broker caravans hosted by RREA are held the first and second Thursday of each month. For more information, see rrea.org.
