Ramona Community Library is at 1275 Main Street, with the parking in the rear. It opens at 9:30 a.m. daily and closes Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. Among activities are:
Baby Lapsit Storytime: Introduce your baby to the pleasure of reading and enjoy your time together with your baby and other parents. Monday, July 11, at 11:30 a.m.
Preschool Storytime: Bring your preschooler to enjoy a fun story on every Wednesday, at 11 a.m. After storytime, join in making crafts at 11:30 a.m.
Grandparents and Books: Stories are read from a selection of favorite children’s books on every Thursday at 11 a.m.
Summer Reading Club: theme “One World, Many Stories.” Reading logs and prizes available for all ages, sign-up required. This reading program runs through Aug. 7.
Teen Video Game Arcade (Grades 6-12): Bring your friends and try out some of the popular games on popular gaming consoles. Make it a challenge by keeping track of the highest scorer from each session. Saturday, July 9, at 1 p.m.

Travel The World with Mad Science: Take a trip around The World through scientific experiments. Experience Antarctica with chill dry ice experiments, then on to the continent of Australia with the mystery of sound tubes, and more. Thursday, July 14, at 1 p.m.
Yoga: Bring your mat. Fridays at 11 a.m. All ages welcome.
Ireland Travel Slide Show & Art Lesson: Slide presentation of the magnificent country of Ireland, enjoy seeing the shamrock green of Ireland as the slides take you through their country. An art lesson will follow the slide presentation on Friday, July 15, at 3 p.m.
Family Crafts: Participate in arts and crafts projects you get to take home, every Friday at 3 p.m. All ages welcome and bring the whole family.
Tai Chi: Instructor led Tai Chi classes for adults in the Auerbach Community Room on Thursdays at 9 a.m.
National Latino Research Center: Group meeting on Mondays at 5 p.m..

Intermountain Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department Auxiliary: The Hot Spots are staging “A Night of Mystery” at the New Ramona Library July 30, from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Auerbach Community Room and patio area. Advance tickets are available from Hot Spots members or at the Ramona Chamber of Commerce office. The fundraiser includes dinner, entertainment, opportunity drawings and a live auction.
Sponsorship donations are being accepted for the decorative benches to be placed around the exterior of the library.Consider sponsorship by your family, business, or community group.
Friends Bookstore: Located in the Library Lobby nearest to the front doors of Main Street. Bookstore Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next Book Sale will be Saturday, July 16, in the Library Bookstore.
Purchases from the bookstore help to provide library programs and events. The Friendly Waves newsletter can be picked up in the bookstore or it can be emailed to members.
