Ag Boosters sell Christmas trees

Share

The vacant lot at the corner of Fifth and Main streets will turn into a Christmas tree lot with Ramona High School Ag Boosters selling Christmas trees again this year.

This is the organization’s main fundraiser of the year, and those coordinating the sales encourage area residents to “please come and buy a beautiful tree for your home.” All proceeds benefit the agriculture program at the high school.

Sales will start Saturday, Dec. 3, and continue Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. through Sunday, Dec. 18.

Among the variety of trees are Noble, Grand and Douglas fir.

Former Ag Boosters and graduates of the RHS Agriculture program are welcome to participate as volunteers.

Anyone wishing to volunteer or to receive more information about the trees or about the classes and other activities and projects offered in the RHS agriculture program may call Dave Campbell at 760-522-1866.
