Christmas Tree Lighting in Collier Park on Saturday

Share

Ramona’s 19th Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting, presented by Ramona Chamber of Commerce, promises lots of old-fashioned fun — including an opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap — in Collier Park in the 600 block of E Street from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Music, entertainment, Christmas craft centers, face painting, cookie decorating, a live nativity, and food and vendors are among festivities planned. Santa will arrive about 5:15 p.m., and children will have the opportunity to have their picture taken as they share their Christmas wishes with him. Photos by Jeanne Wood Photography will be $5 each.

Chamber President Jason DeLeo will light the Christmas tree and it will remain lighted through Dec. 26.

“Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit and watch the show,” said Honorary Mayor Sharon Davis. “We have almost two hours of entertainment lined up.”
