Girls earn Miss California titles, qualify for National Miss pageant

Two Ramona girls won titles at the 2011 National American Miss California contest held in Anaheim.

Olivia Jensen won the Miss California Pre-Teen title and Alexavia Zetterberg was named Miss California Princess.

The National American Miss pageants are held in each state for girls ages 4 to 18 in five age divisions.

Both girls will go on to compete in the American Miss national pageant during Thanksgiving week at Disneyland in Anaheim, where they will have the opportunity to win a share of $500,000 in cash and prizes.

Olivia is the daughter of Shawn and Catrina Jensen. She is a student at Olive Peirce Middle School and has been involved in vocal activities, drama club and debate club. She has been an honor roll student and volunteers in the community. She is sponsored by her parents, Rubio’s and El Cajon Ford.

Alexavia is the daughter of John and Regina Zetterberg. Her activities have included vocal lessons, participating in local talent shows and parades, and community service. She is sponsored by Orange Book, Ramona Fitness Center, Ramona Tan and Miraculous Moments Inc.
