Share

Ramona United Methodist Church is seeking vendors for the Fall Festival it plans for Sept. 9, 10 and 11.

Applications from vendors are requested by Friday, Aug. 19.

The festival will feature carnival rides, games, food and craft vendors, community displays, music acts and a chili cookoff. Dubbed “Fall Festival for Family Fun on the Midway,” it will be in the front yard of the church off state Route 67 and Dye Road.

Vendor applications are being accepted and are available at www.ramonaumc.org/fall-festival.

Community volunteers wanting to help with the festival may email fallfestival@ramonaumc.org or call the church at 760-789-7106.

“The campus at RUMC is a remarkable community resource,” said the Rev. Steve Islander, the congregation’s pastor. “We’re thrilled to put it to use for local entertainment, arts and crafts, fellowship and fun.”

RUMC and the United Methodist Church are working to “rethink church” to support more community engagement and advance the church’s global work to eradicate poverty and disease, stated event organizers. Proceeds from the festival will benefit RUMC’s global and community church missions, including the Little People’s Learning Center preschool on church property. Learning center families are helping to organize the festival.
