Sign-ups scheduled for Pony Winter League Baseball

Ramona Pony League Baseball will begin its Winter Ball League on Sunday, Sept. 11.

It is a 10-week season with the ending date of Nov. 20. There will be no games Veterans Day weekend.

Sign-ups for Winter Ball will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pony field near the concession stand in Ramona Community Park on:

•Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7;

•Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20 and 21; and

•Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3 and 4.

Registration fees are $85, the same as last year. The league is also looking for sponsors. Those interested in sponsoring a team may contact Sally Westbrook at 760-525-4888.
