Dr. Lily Workman joins Hardie Orthodontics

Hardie Orthodontics in Ramona has announced that Dr. Lily Workman recently joined its team.

Workman grew up in the San Diego area and attended Mt. Carmel High School in Rancho Penasquitos. She graduated with honors from Vassar College in New York and attended dental school at the University of California, San Francisco.

Workman spent her orthodontic residency in Florida at Jacksonville University where she was an active participant in the community. She is board eligible with the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and California Dental Association.

She said she enjoys equestrian sports with her horse, playing in local musical ensembles and spending time with her husband, Lt. Steve MacGillis, an Annapolis graduate and pilot in the U.S. Navy.

Workman said she is thrilled to be part of the Hardie Orthodontics team and back in her hometown of San Diego.

Hardie Orthodontics office at 1140 Main St. in the Ramona Plaza has been open since the early 1980s and offers complimentary exams to all new patients.

Dr. Rich Hardie has been in practice for 19 years and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthdontics. Originally from Springfield, Mo., he and his wife Cynthia have two sons. He donates his time and services to the Boys and Girls Club, Escondido Christian School, Calvin Christian School, several public schools, and the California Center for the Arts.
