Pepper Creek Summer Gala benefits equine show team

Pepper Creek Equine Center will hold its 2011 Summer Gala on Creelman Lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.

The event will feature fun for the whole family, with pony rides and a bounce house for the kids. Adults can browse through the craft and rummage sales, and enjoy the opportunity drawings and basket auction. There will also be a barbecue and bake sale.

The money raised will be used to support the Pepper Creek Show Team, which is comprised of youngsters ages 6 to 17. Team members will play a large part in organizing and running the day’s events.

Space is also available for vendors at the summer gala. A booth is $20 and includes electricity if needed. Vendors are encouraged to bring used tack, crafts, antiques and other family-friendly items.

Flyers and emails are distributed throughout town to maximize the event’s visibility.

Pepper Creek Equine Center is at 385 Creelman Lane. Follow Hanson Lane east to Keyes, and turn right; follow Keyes to the end, and turn left.

Pepper Creek Equine Center is a full-service boarding and training facility, offering hunter/ jumper and dressage training for all ages and levels. The center includes a lettered 20x60 dressage court, arena with a permanent jump course, round pen, wash racks, lighted tack rooms, and irrigated pasture turnouts.
