This young fresh face is billed as a barrel of energy and laughs. While in his third year as a barrel man, Selvester has entertained rodeo crowds for seven years as “Wolfey,” the first recognized mascot of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He has shed the hot suit for some face paint and a bucking bull bowling pin.

Selvester has gained the experience and appreciation for the physical humor, crowd participation and interaction. Whether laughing at him in the rodeo arena or laughing with him in your lap, he brings an element of youth, including hot dance steps, quick-witted humor and just plain good looks to wow the crowd.

He has entertained rodeo fans up and down the West Coast in venues such as the Red Bluff Round-Up, Chief Joseph Days, Dillon Jaycees Rodeo, Bakersfield and Clovis, and he was honored to work several PBR Built Ford Tough Series events. He has also taken his skills into the motor sport arena performing for the Major League of Monster Trucks as the “Monster Truck Hillbilly” at monster truck shows all over California, Oregon and Washington.

Selvester earned a degree in multimedia design in 2002. He quickly traded sitting in front of a computer for sitting in the middle of an arena in a barrel. Growing up around rodeo and working the arena for many years has given him a true understanding of the sport and how to contribute to a fast-paced rodeo while pleasing fans of all ages.
