Miss Jr. Teen contestants seek sponsors

Bailey Pietila and Nicole Wynn of Ramona have been selected to participate in the Nationals’ 2010 Miss Junior Teen San Diego Pageant on May 23.

Miss Junior Teen is one of four divisions that will have girls and young women between 7 and 19 years old competing in modeling routines that include casual wear and formal wear. In addition, Pietila and Wynn will display their personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with this year’s judging panel. Personality is the number one characteristic that each contestant is judged on during all phases of the competition.

The young woman crowned Miss Junior Teen San Diego would represent the region at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.

Community businesses, organizations and individuals will assist her in participating in this year’s competition by becoming one of her official sponsors. Through sponsorship, each contestant receives all of the training, rehearsals and financial support to allow her to be a well-prepared contestant in the pageant.
