More than 500 set to graduate

Ramona Unified School District has three days of graduation and promotion ceremonies scheduled for Monday through Wednesday, June 14 through 16, with a high school graduation each evening.

Depending on how their last week of school goes, about 418 Ramona High School seniors will be receiving diplomas, 39 seniors will be graduating from Montecito High, 31 from Future Bound Independent Study and 25 from Mountain Valley Academy.

A schedule of graduation ceremonies by date are:

•Monday, June 14, 5 p.m., Ramona Community School (RCS), Mountain Valley Academy, Grade 12. Olive Peirce Middle School Performing Arts Center.

•Tuesday, June 15, 6 p.m., Montecito High School, Adult Education and Future Bound Independent Study.

•Wednesday, June 16, 7:30 p.m., Ramona High School, RHS Stadium. Tickets are required for priority seating at 5:30 p.m. and general seating at 6:15 p.m. No tickets are needed for public seating from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Promotion ceremonies, by date, are:

•June 14, 9 a.m., RCS, Mountain Valley Academy, Grade 8.

•June 15, 9 a.m., Ramona Elementary School, Barnett Elementary, James Dukes Elementary, Hanson Elementary, Mount Woodson Elementary and RCS/Montessori Academy, Grade 8.

•June 16, Olive Peirce Middle School, 9 a.m., RHS Stadium.

Unless otherwise stated, the graduation and promotion ceremonies will be at the schools.
