Hotel gallery hosts art reception
Olde Ramona Hotel Gallery features member LaVina Stromberg and her husband Bill, a retired builder, in a combined show this month.
Working in his workshop and her studio, the Ramona couple have added to his carvings and her paintings and used found objects, wire, clay and more to create works of art. It is their hope the community will enjoy their efforts, titled “But Is It Art?”
In the Discovery Room through June is award-winning plein air art by David Armstrong of Borrego Springs. Armstrong works in acrylics and watercolor, but his favorite medium is oil.
Also in the Discovery Room, Stephanie Page continues her successful exhibit.
The public is invited to visit with the artists at the reception scheduled in the gallery for 3 to 5 p.m. on June 5. The gallery is at 845 Main St. and may be contacted at 760-789-3682.
