Cause of airplane mishap unknown

A student pilot walked away from a small airplane mishap at Ramona

Airport after the plane went off the runway and flipped Jan. 6.

The plane landed in the first 1,000 feet of the runway, shot west,

went into the grassy muddy and flipped over, said Bo Donovan, airport

manager. The incident occurred about 3:30 p.m.

The San Marcos resident did not require medical attention, and the

plane was towed to one of the fixed base operators at the airport for

investigation to determine what may have caused the accident.
