Ramona Town Hall discount cards called win-win for businesses, holders, town hall

Share

Ramona Town Hall supporters are participating in a win-win opportunity that benefits businesses and families as well as plans to restore the historic building at 729 Main St.—the Ramona Town Hall Discount Card.

The program generates cash for participating businesses and savings for families. It cost businesses nothing to participate, except the discount offered to their customers holding a valid Ramona Town Hall Discount Card. Ramona Town Hall raises restoration funds when it sells the card to other businesses or households.

The discount cards went on sale at the Oktoberfest and periodically in front of the two major supermarkets in Ramona. The cards are also available at the Original Old Town Ramona Antique Fair at 734 Main St.

A full list of participating businesses can be found on the Ramona Town Hall Web site at Ramonatownhall.com. Discount cards sold in 2009 are valid through Dec. 31, 2010. Cards sold after Dec. 31, 2009 will be valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Participating businesses should have the Ramona Town Hall placard displayed in their window. If for some reason a participating business has not received a placard, contact Don Russell at 760-789-4740.

When purchasing a discount card, a current list of participating businesses will be supplied. For an updated business list, visit ramonatownhall.com at any time, as the list of participating businesses continues to grow.

The purchase price of the discount card is $25, which is fully tax deductible due to the Ramona Town Hall Inc. being a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.
