Schools schedule spring open houses

Spring Open House programs at Ramona’s public schools start at Montecito High School at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 19.

With the exception of Ramona High School, Olive Peirce Middle School and Ramona Community School, the open houses will provide opportunities for classroom visits.

Ramona High School’s Bulldawg Expo, scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, will be geared to parents of incoming ninth-graders.

Olive Peirce Middle School’s Camp Peirce is designed for parents of incoming seventh-graders and will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.

Ramona Community School will showcase the school year during Children’s Night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 3.

Other open houses will be:

• Thursday, April 29, 6:30 p.m. — Ramona Elementary School.

• Thursday, May 6, 6:15 p.m. — Barnett Elementary School.

• Thursday, May 27, 5:30 p.m. — James Dukes Elementary School.

• Thursday, May 27, 7 p.m. — Hanson Elementary School.

• Thursday, May 27, 6 p.m. — Mt. Woodson Elementary School.

Three of the schools plan other activities before the start of classroom visits:

• Ramona Elementary PTA meeting will start at 6 p.m.

• Barnett Elementary PTA Awards meeting will be on the lawn outside of the fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms at 5:30 p.m.

• Hanson Elementary will have a barbecue at 5:30 p.m. and performances by students at 6 p.m.
