RHS golf team loses 2 matches

Ramona High’s girls golf team lost two Valley League matches on the road to Mt. Carmel and San Marcos. The Lady Dawgs are now 1-3 overall and 0-3 in league play.

The Lady Bulldogs lost to Mt. Carmel 230-260 at the Rancho Bernardo Country Club. It was Ramona’s lowest score of the season as a team. Kelsey Perry paced the Lady Dawgs by shooting a 47. Tracey Huynh of Mt. Carmel was the medalist with a 41.

Kelsie Domnitz, Kambria Fitting and Ally Harvey all shot 53. Emily Vandervort shot a 54 and Catie Sundberg contributed a 60.Only the top five scores are used unless there is a need for a tie breaker.

The Lady Dawgs lost to San Marcos 278-290 at Lake San Marcos Country Club. Emily Vandervort recorded the Lady Dawg’s low score by shooting a 51. Ally Harvey shot 55. Kelsie Domnitz turned in a 56. Catie Sundberg shot a 63. Kia Turner shot 65. Ashley Ramirez shot 71.
