Watercolorists are featured in historic hotel

Two watercolorists, both students of noted wildlife artist Joe Garcia of Julian, will share the Discovery Room in the Olde Ramona Hotel Gallery in November and December. Both of the artists, Sally Quinette and Mandy Lindquist, are members of the Ramona Art Guild and the Escondido Art Association.

Also, gallery members present their annual fine art show, Festivus for the Rest of Us, this month and next.

A reception for Quinette, Lindquist and all of the gallery artists will be held in the gallery at 845 Main St. from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information is at olderamonahotelgallery.com and 760-789-3682.
