Hotel gallery stages 20th annual art show

Olde Ramona Hotel Gallery is celebrating its 20th Annual Autumn Fine Arts Show and Exhibit this month.

A reception for the artists whose works are showcased will be held in the gallery at 845 Main St. from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Awards will be presented at 6 p.m.

Paul Ryker adult education instructor and Escondido Art Association Board member, is the show’s juror. First, second and third prizes will be awarded in four categories: Oil and Acrylic, Watercolor or Watermedia, Photography and Computer Art, and Other, which includes pen and ink, collage, pastels, sculpture, graphics and other media.

Admission to the gallery is free. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information about the gallery, the art show or the reception is available at olderamonahotelgallery.com or 760-789-3682.
