Share

Ramona Boys Under 15 soccer team played FC San Diego on Saturday, delivering another 3-0 shutout.

Julio Velasco worked great with Alejandro Rodriquez today, said the team’s coaches. Alejandro was quick on his feet and delivered the first powerful kick into the goal.

Jose “Kiko” Valencia as center defender drove up to the offensive position to score two amazing goals against FC. The offensive team passed well and communication was strong.

With a good offense the team needs a good defense, and Ramona’s defensive team held the FC San Diego players from scoring. With Valencia, Quintin LaRosa, Alan Valdes, Oscar Moreno and Oscar Leon as the defenders, FC San Diego had little chance of scoring.

Jessie Bonilla as keeper made it look easy as he blocked and allowed no goals. With six more games to go, the team is doing really well, caid Coaches Szymanski and Loftis, who added that they are pleased with the team’s hard work and determination.
