Alex Muren closed his career at RHS by going a perfect 3-for-3 with a double. Studley also went out with a good day at the dish. Studley went 2-for-4.

Smiley Willeford drove in two runs with a sacrifice fly and a fielder’s choice.

“It was a tough loss. You have to give their cleanup hitter credit. He delivered a double in the clutch,” said Coach Dean Welch. “This was a good group to coach. The seniors showed good leadership.

“My coaches did a good job all season. Josh Lohman did a good job with the pitchers. Bob Snelling worked with the catchers and was our bench coach. Chuck Welch coached first base.”
