Services for Melissa Jean “Missy” Day, 35-year-old mother of three killed in a head-on collision on state Route 67 one-half mile north of Mina De Oro Road on Dec. 28, will be held in Calvary Chapel at 114 14th St. in Ramona today at 1 p.m. All are welcome.

A potluck and refreshments are planned after the services in the Grange Building on Seventh Street.

Day lived in Ramona with her daughters, ages 16, 14, and 11, and her mother, Hope Vineyard Christian Fellowship Assistant Pastor Sherrie Day. She was killed when a 17-year-old Ramona boy lost control of the northbound vehicle he was driving and the vehicle crossed the center lines, hitting Day’s southbound vehicle head-on.

Anyone wishing to contribute to Day’s family may send donations made payable to Hope Vineyard Christian Fellowship for the Melissa Day Fund to Hope Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 2037 Main St., Ramona CA 92065.
