New health center is topic of Intermountain meeting

Marcia Jackson, director of facilities planning and transformation for Palomar Pomerado Health (PPH) services, will discuss plans for the new satellite health center to be built in Ramona when Intermountain Republican Women Federated members hold their luncheon meeting in the Julian area on Monday, April 27.

Jackson has been with Palomar Pomerado Health since April 2000 and has planned business development for over 20 years. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of California, Riverside and is a fellow of the Health Forum’s Creating Healthier Communities Fellowship Program.

PPH’s plans an outpatient medical center on Main Street property it owns between 13 and 14th streets. The plans were presented to the Ramona Community Planning Group in March and are being reviewed by San Diego County Department of Planning and Lane Use.

Pacific Medical Buildings is the project developer. Child Warner Mascari is the architect. According to a recent report to the Ramona Revitalization Steering Committee, county transportation impact fees are a concern that could affect lease rates and the hospital district is working with the county to determine what the fee will be.
