Golf team drops two matches

Ramona High School Lady Bulldogs dropped two Valley League contests at the friendly confines of San Vicente Resort. The Lady Dawgs are 1-7 on the year and 1-5 in the Valley League.

The team lost to Oceanside High School 238-294.

Freshman Ally Harvey paced the Lady Bulldogs with a 50 in her second week of varsity action. Kellsie Domnitz shot a 51, Brittany Morton recorded a 58. Taylor Doelman shot 59.

Kammy Sitting shot a 76 and Ashley Ramirez shot 77. Oceanside’s Hannah Durette was the medalist of the match. She fired an even par 36.

Ramona lost to Mt. Carmel 239-298.

Morton led the Lady Dawgs by shooting a 57. Domnitz shot 59. Doelman recorded a 60. Kammy Fitting and Ally Harvey both shot 61. Kia Turner shot 68. Tracey Huynh of Mt. Carmel earned medalist honors. She shot a two over par 38.
