County offers voters online tool before Nov. 4 election

Share

San Diego County Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler encourages people to use the department’s online tool to check registration information at www.sdvote.com.

“We are expecting a large turnout in the Nov. 4 election, and we want to make sure voters have verified their registration information to make sure Election Day goes smoothly for everyone,” said Seiler.

The tool is available in English, Filipino, Spanish, and Vietnamese. It can be used by those who vote by mail to find out when their ballots are received by the registrar’s office. In addition, voters can access their sample ballot online.

To change registration information, fill out a form available at www.sdvote.com, as well as the Registrar of Voters office, all U.S. post offices, public libraries, and Department of Motor Vehicles offices.

All forms must be postmarked or delivered to the Registrar of Voters no later than midnight on Oct. 20. Voters should be aware that, unlike the Direct Primary Election in June, voters in this election will be able to cast their ballots for candidates of any political party. For more information about the election, visit www.sdvote.com or call 858-565-5800.
