Garden clubs offer scholarships

California Garden Clubs Inc. (CGCI) and the National Garden Club are offering scholarships totaling $13,000 to college juniors and seniors or students who have completed two years of college and plan careers in botany, conservation, entomology, floriculture, forestry, hoticulture, landscape or research in allied fields.

CGCI offers two scholarships of $2,000. The application deadline is Dec. 1. The Pacific Region offers one $1,000 scholarship and the application deadline is Jan. 31. The National Garden Club offers two $4,000 scholarships and the application deadline is March 1.
