Girls golf continues season improvement

Ramona’s girls golf team picked up a Valley League victory over Westview and lost a league match to Oceanside as the team continues to improve.

The Lady Dawgs are now 3-10 on the season and 3-8 in the Valley League.

Ramona beat Westview 278-299 at the San Vicente Resort. Kellsie Domnitz shot her personal best as she took medalist honors with a stellar 49 on the par 36 front nine. It was the first time that Kellsie has shot in the forties.

Brittany Morton fired a 51. Ally Harvey and Kammy Fitting both shot a 58. Taylor Doelman contributed a 62 to the victory and Kia Turner shot 69.

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Oceanside Municipal Golf Course and improved their score but lost to the Pirates 233-271.

Freshman Ally Harvey led the Lady Dawgs with a 49. Kammy Fitting shot an impressive 52. Kellsie Domnitz shot 54. Taylor Doelman recorded a 57. Brittany Morton and Kia Turner both turned in a 59.
