16th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Ramona Chamber of Commerce’s 16th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be Saturday, Dec. 13, from 3 to 6 p.m. The location has been moved to the Ramona Outdoor Community Center Pavilion at 421 Aqua Lane.

An Antique Tractor Parade will start down Main street at 3 p.m. followed by Santa Claus, who will be brought to the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in a fire engine from Ramona Fire Station No. 80, courtesy of the Ramona Fire Department.

Tree lighting festivities will include entertainment, food, opportunity drawings, pictures with Santa and other surprises. The live tree will be lit at approximately 5 p.m.

At the conclusion of the event, the live Christmas tree will be brought to the front yard of the Ramona Chamber of Commerce office at 966 Main St., where it will remain lighted for everyone’s enjoyment until the New Year.

Tree lighting ceremony admission and parking are free.
