Southbound Route 163 at Interstate 15 closed tonight

Southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) at Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed tonight beginning at 10 and will reopen at approximately 5 in the morning, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

The closure will allow construction crews to pave asphalt and concrete on the road surface. Detour signs will direct motorists around the closure. Motorists traveling on southbound SR-163 at I-15 will be detoured via westbound State Route 52 to southbound State Route 805 onto southbound SR-163.
