Ramona Women’s Connection will stage “Times of Our Lves” fashion show at San Vicente Resort on May 24.
“There is a time and a season for everything and now is the time for spring and summer fashions,” said Marlene Robershaw with the Women’s Connection. “Join us for lunch and a fashion show featuring clothes from a well-known Southern California designer. The fashions will showcase the latest colors and trends.”
Kiwanis of Ramona will present its 8th annual Bow-Wow Pow-Wow Fun Dog Show on Saturday, June 9, at the Ramona Outdoor Community Center Pavilion at 421 Aqua Lane.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m., and judging at 11.
Ten categories include: Best costume (adult’s dog and child’s dog), dog owner look-alike, most beautiful, most handsome, best tail wager, best kisser, most talented, most unusual markings, and cutest little dog. The winners of each category are eligible for best in show.

Ramona Art Guild members will present two $1,000 checks at its meeting on Wednesday, May 16: one to a local high school graduate and one to the Friends of Ramona Library for that organization’s support of the arts and the community.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Ramona Library Community Room, 1275 Main St., and will feature abstract artist Marsha Boston, whose works are influenced by her fascination with botany.
