Crime Stoppers offers reward to locate Ramona fugitive

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Fugitive Task Force are looking for Dean Mostad, wanted for willful discharging of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner from his Ramona residence.

According to the sheriff’s department, Mostad is a 59-year-old 6-foot, 6-inch tall, 225-pound white male. He has red/auburn hair and blue eyes, said the report.

Mostad is suspected of firing several rounds from his handgun while inside his Ramona home, the sheriff’s department said. A $500,000 bail felony warrant was issued on April 13.

Anyone with information on the location of the suspect should call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477.
