Kindergarten registration starts at Ramona elementary schools

Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten registration for the 2014-15 school year in the Ramona Unified School District started this week.

Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. Those who will be age 5 on or between Sept. 2 and Dec. 2 will be in TK. Youngsters who will be 5 years old on or after Dec. 3 will be eligible to start school in 2015-16.

Registration packets are at the elementary schools. Students will attend the school closest to their residence. Parents who do not know which school their child should attend may call the district’s Education Services office at 760-787-2012.
