    Why is he leaving?

How can an article about a resignation not give a reason for the resignation?

"As an off campus basketball coach for Ramona High School I have been working with St. Katherine four year Christian College for the past year. At this time I am unable to continue to coach at the high school and collegiate level and must resign my position as head men’s basketball coach at RHS. I have been blessed to receive a collegiate job offer and accepted those responsibilities. I wish I could continue in my responsibilities at RHS, however that cannot be at this time.
I feel absolutely horrible having to part ways from the committed young men who have sacrificed much in helping change the culture of Ramona basketball and achieve the success it did. The student athletes in the program built a family atmosphere of brotherhood with memories that will never be forgotten and will always be a part of the history of Ramona. I guaranteed the younger class would be CIF champs by the time they are juniors and seniors because I believe in them. I look forward to watching it happen as their coach, knowing that the growth that occurred over summer and this season was the foundation. There is no question I will continue to offer my help, assistance and open doors of opportunity for those who wish to play at the next level.

To the parents of our players who sacrificed much in traveling to spring, summer, fall and even winter league games; thank you for your support, we all agree it's strange and very difficult to win games not being able to travel on a bus for away games, especially CIF post season games. Not used to preparing for a game while driving in traffic and telling my 7 children, "sit down and be quiet please." Nevertheless a winning season was accomplished with all we had to endure.

The youth in the community are fantastic and have been very supportive in attending camps and participating in Biddy Basketball leagues. I hope all of you continue to, "Strive to be the best you can be." St. Katherine University will continue these camps to provide elite opportunities for player development here in the San Diego area for youth and college prospects all over the country.

I believe I left Arizona and moved to Ramona for a reason and purpose; that has been fulfilled…Over 17 boys have committed already to play year round basketball to continue the success the off season brought this year.

I Wish the boys in the program the best and look forward to you reaping what you have sewn; you know what you need to do to get to the top, it’s all yours. May the new current culture of the basketball program and its positive effect on the community continue to be an example of how all people should conduct themselves- "Team Together!"
