RHS grad earns college student-athlete honor

Dean Faddis, a senior safety on Portland State University’s football team, has been selected to the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-District 8 team.

Faddis, a 2009 Ramona High School graduate, was selected to a team that includes eligible student-athletes from all Division I schools in most of the western United States.

He will advance to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.

The 6-foot, 205-pounder has started every game this season for the Vikings, sharing the team lead with  75 tackles and leading the team with five pass breakups.
