Kailey Hill shot low score for the Lady Dawgs with a 45. Cheyenne Hockin continued to shoot well as she carded a 51. Caitlyn Doulgeropoulos shot a 52, Bre Hirsh, 55,  Rachel Costan, 58, and Shannon Curristan turned in a 63.

Hill is one of the few three-sport athletes at Ramona High School. She has verbally committed to the University of San Diego to continue her education and to play softball. She also is a starter on Dan Marshall’s Bulldog basketball team and has over a 4.00 grade point average.

Her favorite sport is softball but she is glad that she has been able to play three sports at RHS.

“I get to golf with my dad (Bob) on weekends and we have a blast. I never took lessons. He has coached me in golf and softball. I also play golf at times with my brother (Robert). My mom (Chona) doesn’t play,  she is the smart one in the family,” joked Hill.

Hill plans on making golf a lifelong pursuit.

“I am glad that I got to play golf in high school. Coach (John) Rathbun has helped me a lot. I enjoy playing most with my friends, Bre (Hirsh) and Caitlyn (Doulgeropoulos). We have golf pride,” said Hill with a chuckle.
