Chamber announces Ramona Idol semifinalists

It has been an exciting five weeks for the Ramona Idol competition and the Ramona Chamber of Commerce and Catrina Jensen, chairperson, want to thank all who participated, said Sally Westbrook, chamber director in charge of publicity for the event.

“It is with great pleasure we announce the following semifinalists who will be competing at the 43rd Annual Country Fair, July 25 to 28, said Westbrook.

First Week Winners moving to the semifinals are: Mike McTighe, Brianna Thompson, Ryan Hardesty & Riley Murphy, Ray O’Dell, Sandy Teichert, Christina Banks, Parker Lovell, Faith Knott, Phil Morris, Chantal Ranzolin-Gomboa & Katie Haynes, Kristen Byford, Taylor Hay, and Wendy Whitney.

Second Week Winners moving on are Karyn Wochaski, Rowen O’Brien, Paul Epner, Devon Diamond, Lindsey Diamond, Emily Bryant, Wesley Richardson, Katie Haynes, Dane Lawler, Travis Miller, Wendy Whitney & Jessica Bussie, Taylor Butler & Amanda Abbott, and Kami Brown.

Week Three Winners are: Sarah Socia, Duane Chevalier, Nicole McDonald, Alex Flynn, Elizatheth Groenewold, Trey Miles, Noah Miles, Chelsea Shaffer, Cara Wochaski, and Meaghan Duvalian.

Week Four Winners are: Mackenzie Rutkoff, Meg Krause, Taylor Legerrietta, Meranda Gonzalez, Dane Lawler & Elizabeth Groenwold, and the final results from Week Five are Eunice Pelayo, Charity Morris, and Melanie VanDorea.

Jensen encourages the community to “come out and watch your favorite semifinalist and enjoy all the events of this year’s Ramona Country Fair.”
