TNT to stage public auction at Ramona rodeo grounds

Hundreds of surplus automobiles, heavy equipment and other property from San Diego County and other agencies will be up for bid at Ramona Outdoor Community Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 13.

Among vehicles going on the auction block are: a 2008 Toyota 4 Runner, a 2005 Honda Odyssey Van, 2005 Toyota Prius Hybrid, 2008 Dodge Durango, 2006 Chevrolet Impala and 2005 through 2009 Ford Crown Victoria patrol cars.

Pickup trucks, one-ton cargo vans, school buses, a 1989 W14 Case Loader, a 1991 Caterpillar Loader and a 1992 Volvo Refer truck also are up for bid, as are motor graders, pup dumps, graders and backhoes.

TNT Auction Company will run the event in the Fred Grand Arena at the ROCC rodeo grounds at 421 Aqua Lane. The public can preview auction items from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12, at the same location.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and the auction will start at 9 a.m. Bidders may also register online. Many bids start at just $100, according to the county.
