Upcoming public meetings include the planning group’s Parks & Recreation Subcommittee on May 20 and the Ramona Parents Coalition on May 22.

Monday, May 20

Ramona Community Planning Group’s Parks & Recreation Subcommittee, 6 p.m., Ramona Community Center, 434 Aqua Lane. Among agenda items: Park Land Dedication Ordinance (PLDO) balance of $631,060 for Ramona, PLDO expenditure of $97,000 for Ramona Community School project, PLDO expenditure of $19,542 for parks development support staff, PLDO priority list and identification of champions for each, possible new PLDO projects, discuss draft PLDO process guideline, and presentation on Ramona Botanical Garden opportunities.

Wednesday, May 22

Ramona Parents Coalition Supporting Our Children presents “Fact or Fiction,” results of independent fact-checking efforts related to contract dispute between school district and teachers union, 7 p.m., Ramona Library Community Room, 1275 Main St.
