Students stage ‘Shopping for Laughs’

Do you have a case of the mid-spring blues? Well, not to fret, says drama teacher Amy Krause — “the perfect solution is to come see Ramona Community School/Mountain Valley Academy’s production of ‘Shopping for Laughs.’”

The comedy includes a variety of short skits and parodies popular in the media.

“This fun filled show is perfect for all ages and will leave you sore from laughter,” said Krause, who directs the production. “So bring the whole family and join us for a night of laughter and fun.”

“Shopping for Laughs” will be staged at Olive Pierce Middle School Performing Arts Center, 1521 Hanson Lane, on May 9 at 7 p.m., May 10 at 7 p.m. and May 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $6 at the door. Family discounts are available.

There will be a snack bar during intermission, and all ticket and snack bar sales will go directly to the drama fund for upcoming shows.

Victoria Nored is the show’s co-director.
