Ramona Music Fest VI: 5 hours of music, dancing, food, prizes, family fun

The sixth annual Ramona Music Fest will feature five hours of ska, rock, Americana, rockabilly, blues, jazz, and bluegrass on two stages from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

It’s a family day to listen, enjoy, and dance to music performed by emerging talent and popular San Diego performers.

Come hungry, bring the kids, and go home a winner!

Ramona Music Fest is the first event of nine days of music in Ramona.

Music Fest tickets are $25 each. Children 9 and younger will be admitted free, ages 10-16 for $10. While they might not be country, jazz, folk, rock, or brass band fans yet, there are other activities for them in the Kid Zone: Face painting, toss games, and more. Games are supervised by qualified persons.

The Kid Zone is sponsored by a donation from Dr. Jane Tanaka of Ramona.

There are prizes to be won through opportunity drawings and auctions. Items are donated by individuals, merchants and business people who support Ramona Kiwanis and Rotary projects and scholarships.
