Shetland Baseball field groundbreaking

Some members of the Ramona Sports Association Board break ground on the new Shetland Baseball field at the Ramona Pony Baseball complex in Ramona Community Park. Angels Highlights

Hitting: Mason Wrenn hit 2 singles. Isaac Garcia and Joshua King went three for three at bat. Mason Ochoa hit a single, double, and a triple; Travis Petton hit a double; and Kai Powell and Tommy Vail both hit 2 singles. Paul Mefford had a great hit but was tagged out at first.

Defense: Great defensive plays by Mason Wrenn, Isaac Garcia, and Travis Petton.

Rangers Highlights

Hitting: Hank Brown hit 2 doubles; Ramiro Valladolid hit 2 doubles and a single; and Matt Mallinson hit a single, a double, and a triple. Adam Grato, Emmitt Heap, Landon Willis, Cooper Woolard, and Kaylen Yap each hit two singles; and Nolan Hess and Garin Sturgeon each hit a single.
