ASB plans Super Fan Tailgate Party for Saturday’s CIF Championship football game

Spirits are high at Ramona High School, where plans are under way for a Super Fan Tailgate Party on Saturday, when the Bulldog football team will play Lincoln High for the CIF San Diego Section Division III championship at Escondido High School. This is the first time since 1973 the Bulldogs are playing for the championship title. They tied with Army-Navy for the title that year. In 1970, they won the title.

The school’s Associated Student Body in cooperation with the Athletic Department is organizing the Super Fan Tailgate Party. The ASB is using money raised during Homecoming Week to subsidize the tailgate party cost for students, said ASB Adviser Mona Snodgrass. Cost for students is $10 for the bus and tailgate activities, and $9 for the game ticket.
